Chatpati (One of Popular Bengali street food Snack)

Food in Bangladesh is very popular to all the community. When it comes to the term "street food", it sounds like crazy to the people. Street food lovers in this region of the world always seek to get local food like Chatpati( In Bengali language).

In Dhaka city,The capital of Bangladesh is very popular for various street food like as Bhelpuri, Fuchka, jhalmuri, singara etc.The Sour and Spicy "Chatpati" is One of them.
Today I am going to show you how it can prepare at home in a very easy way using pressure cooker. Make it in your home and enjoy.Take Love from Bangladesh.♥


                                                         



Ingredients

  1. For mixing
  2. 1 bowl Yellow Chickpeas boiled
  3. 2 teaspoon chatpati mix masala
  4. 1/5 teaspoon chat masala
  5. to taste Black salt
  6. 2 Boiled potatoes
  7. For finishing
  8. 1/4 teaspoon chopped onions
  9. 2 Chopped green chillies
  10. 1 Chopped cucumber
  11. 2 Chopped tomatoes
  12. as needed Chopped Coriander leaves
  13. 2 tbsp Tamarind chutney
  14. as needed Chopped boiled eggs
  15. as needed Fuchkas
  16. as needed Water
  17. to taste Salt


Steps

  1. Clean the yellow chickpeas throughly with water and soak it with clean water overnight.Now take a pressure cooker,put the chickpeas into it with some water and Chatpati masala. Cook till 3 sitties.when they are perfectly boiled, stop the stove and keep them aside. In another bowl, take some boiled potatoes and mash litely and mix with the boiled chickpeas.Mix them.

  2. Take a large mixing bowl.Put the boils yellow chickpeas into it.Put some chat masala, chilli flakes, chopped onions,black salt as required and give them a nice mix.

  3. Chopped the eggs, cucumber, onions, green chillies and tomato into small pieces.

  4. Now in a bowl, take some of boiled chickpeas mixchure and mix the chat masala, cucumber chopped, chopped onions, chopped green chillies and chopped tomatoes into it.spread some Coriander leaves and tamarind chutney as required your taste. Finally spread some chopped egg and fuchka(broken by your hand) on the top of the mixchure.

  5. Chatpati is ready to serve.Enjoy.
