Bengali Gandharaz Chicken/ Lemon Chicken Recipe

Gandharaz Chicken/ Lemon Chicken is one of delicious Bengali Recipe and Bengali Delicacy. A fregrant Lemon named "Gandharaz" is used in this dish mainly and it gives the recipe a nice flavor. In Summer, it's very comfortable recipe to bit the extra hit. It can be served with polau, steamed rice, roti/ paratha whatever you can. Ingrediants

700gram Chicken

2 cup chopped onion

4-5 green chilli

2 tablespoon ghee

1/2 tbs fried cumin powder

1/2 tbs coriander powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1/4 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp garam masala powder

1 tbs ginger-garlic paste

3 tbs sour yogurt

2 tbs onion paste

1 tbs peanut paste

1 dry red chilli

1 bay leaf

1 gandharaz lamon


Steps

wash and clean the chicken and put it in a pot. put yogurt with salt and 2 teaspoon lemon juice and mix it for half an hour. Take a frypan, put some oil and heat it on stove. fry the chicken and put the mixchure for cooking. 

take another frypan and put some oil and heat it on stove. put dry red chilli and bay leaf. put chopped onion with green chilli and fry. put salt as required with onion paste and ginger garlic paste and stir fry it for 3-5 munites.

now put turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder inti it. now, put fried chicken into it with yogurt and peanut paste and pepper into it. give it a perfect mix and put some water with coriander powder, garam masala powder and cumin powder. stir fry it covering the pan.
 
after 4-5 munites add some lemon shell spresd with grater. put some green chilli, spread ghee on the top. cook more 2 munites covering the pan.

Delicious Gandharaz Chicken is ready to serve. Enjoy the authentic bengali delicacy.
